Employee Generated Content is THRIVING right now & all businesses need to get on the band wagon 🚙The number 1 rule of marketing is understanding that PEOPLE BUY FROM PEOPLE & People need to trust those people ❤️That’s exactly the problem that EGC is solving EGC puts faces to the brand & builds the trust that customers are looking for 🤳It also shows the BTS and culture, so that customers & potential customers can get to know your brand betterBelow are LinkedIn metrics from a business account for June and July ☀️Increasing solely based on ONE post showing the managing director!The post was the beginning of a campaign called “meet the team” 👩🏼💻& the post receive the most impressions, new followers and engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook!This has continued with every “meet the team” post that’s gone out 🥳This is your sign to start including your employees in your social strategyIt doesn’t have to be those “funny” videos you’ve seen on tiktok 🤪There’s so many different ways to include your employees & the most important thing about EGC is finding a form that your employees are comfortable with 🥰Because the only thing worse than not having EGC, is having EGC that you forced your employees to partake in! The employees in my “meet the team” campaign weren’t fans of the idea 🙃Which is why the entire campaign uses the staff photos off of our websiteAll the engagement, All the community building & No discomfort! 🥂Win Win! EGC is UGC of LinkedInI wouldn't be surprised if we start to see companies hire based on an employees ability to create great EGC, knowing the value this will have for them.

EGC always does so well on my companies socials. We don't do it anywhere near as much as we should be I think its so important because it ALWAYS spikes engagement

She’s backkkk 🥳You probably didn’t even notice i’d gone 💔(yes i know…again) I spent two weeks in Morocco with my family & now i’m sat at my desk, feeling bad for myself 😂Reality is starting to kick in & I want to go back to a different country to live out my life with no commitments.. UGC content creation is the big addition to many businesses strategy’s Have you considered integrating it into yours?For years brands have been partnering with large celebrity’s & influencers Trying to use them so that fans will buy 🤑But times have changed Most of us trust smaller creators to give us more honest opinions 🤳& look at things such as google reviews and social media content to decide whether something or somewhere is worth it. Time fly’s when you’re having fun ✈️Yesterday marked 6 months of my apprenticeship!It’s gone sooo fast 🥲That’s half of my learning done already& while it doesn’t feel like it’s been that longI’ve learnt SO much within the 6 months 📝& have no regrets about choosing my level 3 apprenticeship over uni, Because it was without a doubt, the best choice for ME 🤪I’ve learnt about Customer personas, how to understand people, data & tracking, social media, websites, and this Thursday I’m on to SEO!If your interested in an apprenticeship in the UK,I couldn’t recommend Working Knowledge enough! ❤️👩🏼💻I have a coach who I receive a monthly meeting with, as well as an additional meeting to support me with my dyslexia.👩🏼💻I receive a 3 hour surgery every month to consolidate my learning and review my assignment with my teacher and cohort.👩🏼💻The second part of that day, I then receive 3 hours of masterclass to prepare me for the month’s assignment.👩🏼💻Plus, we receive a Friday webinar with special guests & ALL apprentices are invited to attend!Working Knowledge go out of there way to give us the best chance within the industryHave you ever considered an apprenticeship? 🤔Let me know your thoughts, or any questions in the comments! 💬#marketingapprentice #apprenticeship #apprentice

Lies, Lies & more LIES! 😤My feed is STILL full of people providing advice on “personal branding” Some of them are really useful & have helped me a lot 😚 But let’s be real, they are in the minority!99% of the stuff I see if pure crap 💩 STOP TELLING PEOPLE THEIR CONTENT IS “BAD”!Just because It wouldn’t work for you Doesn’t mean it won’t work for them 😑Because they’re audience is likely different to yours So let them experiment! 😡I see way too much:🙄 "Be yourself, but don’t post about yourself."🙄 "Do this, and you’ll gain more connections."🙄 "Don’t do that. It’ll get bad results"🙄 “I posted about this and it did really well, so you should too”🙄 Blah blah blah Social media is trial and error! Trial, analyse, adapt, repeat 📊Strategy’s are important don’t get me wrong But, you can also do your own thing and experiment to start out 🎨That way you’ll start to see what’s working when building that strategy!So, let’s stop putting so much pressure on newbies who want to start posting to be perfect and have a strategy down from day one! 😤And if your a newbie or need a little help, Remember not to compare your day 1 to someone else’s day 1000 ❤️Just be YOU! Did you finish the Girls in Marketing in Marketing course? I finished catching up last Friday 🥳& I can’t believe how much value they gave us for FREE If you didn’t manage to finish before they took the recordings away 😔These were my overall key takeaways 🤍 If your only categorising your audience in demographics, you don’t know them well enough 🤍 The customer is the MAIN CHARACTER, your brand is the guide (Yes I know that sounds like storybrand framework) 🤍 There’s no marketing without data 🤍 When your considering your marketing budget make sure it not only maximises ROI but also aligns with your customers 🤍 Everyone learns differently, you need to workout what’s best for you 🤍 The benefits of Upskilling are = Enhancing your skill set, Increasing employability, Adaptability & Personal growth/confidence 🤍 It doesn’t matter how good your SEO is if your website performance is bad = it’s a package deal!
